My approach to business has been featured by O: The Oprah Magazine, Forbes, Entrepreneur Magazine, and The Maker’s Summit. When I'm not starting and running my own businesses, I help other people build, as a consultant and facilitator.
My past experience runs the gamut from running my own fledgling product companies, to high-level corporate consulting (helping optimize operations at the largest low-income mortgage servicer in the world), to coaching small businesses with the United States Small Business Development agency. Previously, I was also Founder & CEO of Liga Masiva, a "global farmers' market" connecting organic farmers in Latin America directly to consumers in the US (and doubling farmer incomes in the process.)
I live in Kingston, NY with my husband and two small sons. When not working on business-building, I’m probably sewing clothes, exploring alternative education, or making cookies with my baking-obsessed 4 year old at 6am.
